Maverick Gaming is hiring for security-focused roles in Colorado. Positions include full-time and part-time shifts with responsibilities to maintain law and order, patrol premises, and ensure compliance with gaming regulations.

Eligible candidates must be 21+, have a high school diploma, and be able to obtain a Colorado gaming license. Benefits include health insurance eligibility after 60 days, PTO, diverse holidays, tuition reimbursement, and a 401K plan.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Military or law enforcement background preferred.
• 2–3 years security experience preferred.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Colorado State Gaming License.
• Ability to read and comprehend all documentation.
• Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees and guests.
• Ability to interface effectively with the public and co-workers.
• Working knowledge of cash handling and Colorado gambling regulations.

Responsibilities

• Efficiently manage and maintain law and order, personnel, and resources.
• Ensure all reports and correspondences are completed in a timely manner throughout the department.
• Patrol company property and protect assets.
• Complete appropriate fills and runs using proper procedures, ensuring all documents are signed.
• Document and write reports on all incidents.
• Respond to and handle emergencies using proper methods and safety procedures.
• Escort employees to the appropriate bank for daily drops.
• Ensure all guests are 21 years of age and can read/understand forms of IDs.
• Communicate with surveillance and M.O.D about events on the casino property.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent experience
• Military/law enforcement background experience preferred.
• 2-3 years security experience preferred.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Colorado State Gaming License.
• Ability to read and comprehend all documentation.
• Ability to always communicate effectively, with all levels of employees and guests.
• Ability to interface effectively with the public and co-workers.
• Working knowledge of cash handling and knowledge of State of Colorado Gambling regulations and rules.

Salary

$20.00 - $24.00/hr
