Job summary

The Housing Authority of the City of Camden (HACC) is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer for its Asset Management Department in Camden, NJ. The officer will patrol grounds, buildings, and facilities to safeguard residents and property, deter theft, vandalism and unauthorized entry.

Candidates should have a High School Diploma or equivalent; an Associate's degree is preferred and NJ SORA certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum of High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Graduation from an accredited college or university with an Associate's degree is preferred.
• Possession of a current, valid NJ SORA Certification is preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively and work well with others.
• Must be self-motivated and able to work independently.
• Must have a valid NJ driver's license.
• Requires frequent standing, stretching, bending, stooping, squatting, walking, pushing and pulling, and lifting of objects weighing up to 35 pounds or more.

Responsibilities

Part Time Security Officer
