Securitas Security Services USA, Inc. is seeking a Security Officer for a full-time role at our Silver City, NM site. The officer will monitor access, patrol the premises, and enforce site regulations to maintain a safe environment for clients and visitors.

Position requires strong customer service, calm decision-making, and the ability to work independently. Comprehensive benefits and ongoing training are provided.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Willing to participate in pre-employment screening (drug screen and background).
• Guard Card License Level 1 needed.

Responsibilities

• Ensure post orders are followed and rounds completed.

Security Officer - Full Time

Primary Location: Silver City, NM

Wage: $17.90/HR

The Security Officer helps maintain a safe and secure environment for our clients by actively monitoring the premises, including access control and patrolling a variety of locations. They preserve order while enforcing regulations and directives for our client sites pertaining to personnel, visitors, and the area. !

What You Can Expect:

• Conflict resolution and de-escalation.

Basic Requirements:

• 18 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Above average computer / technology skills needed.
• Excellent customer service and team leadership skills needed.
• Must be able to work independently.
• Must be able to remain calm and professional during stressful situations.
• Must have great attention to detail and remain vigilant throughout shift.
• Must have a professional demeanor.
• Must be able to respond to emergencies with rapid / effective judgment and use appropriate escalation.
• All candidates must be willing to participate in the Company’s pre-employment screening process, including drug screen and background investigation.
• Guard Card License Level 1 needed.
