Job summary

Southern Jamm Security in Huntsville, AL is seeking dependable Security Officers for part-time and full-time assignments across the region. Pay ranges from $13 to $16 per hour, based on experience and assignment, with several weekend shifts available and part-time evening options.

You will patrol, monitor access points, report incidents, and provide professional customer service while upholding client policies. A valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and a smartphone are required.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Reliable transportation.
• Smartphone with internet access.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Strong communication and observation skills.
• Ability to pass a background check.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe and secure environment for clients, guests, and employees.
• Patrol assigned areas on foot or in a vehicle.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and access points.
• Observe and report suspicious activity, incidents, and safety concerns.
• Complete incident reports accurately and professionally.
• Enforce client policies and procedures.
• Assist with crowd management at events and venues.
• Respond appropriately to emergencies and disturbances.
• Provide excellent customer service while maintaining a professional presence.

Part-Time/Fulltime Security Officer

Southern Jamm Security Huntsville, AL and Surrounding Areas

Job Type: Part-Time
Pay: $13.00 - $16.00 per hour (based on experience and assignment)
Schedule: We are currently recruiting for Part Time shifts from 3pm-11pm, 8pm-12am, and 6pm-10pm. These are mainly WEEKEND SHIFTS. Applicants must have reliable transportation and a valid drivers license.

Officers that perform well in a Part Time role will be given consideration for Full Time shifts.
