Job summary

Amentum seeks Observers to perform entry control actions at Offutt Air Force Base, maintaining knowledge of employee locations under their supervision and ensuring proper observation and control of construction personnel and vehicles within the zone.

Observers may oversee specialty items and assist with badge issuance and access control for construction zones. The role requires in-field work, adherence to OPSEC and privacy regulations, and clear reporting when needed.

Qualifications

• Active TS clearance required.
• At least 2 years’ experience in security-related fields (construction security surveillance / TSCM / industrial or government security).
• Must possess a valid state-issued driver’s license or permit.
• High School diploma or equivalent (already stated).
• No misdemeanors or felonies; no offenses while employed in this position.

Responsibilities

• Maintain knowledge of Privacy Act and applicable regulations.
• Apply OPSEC principles to protect critical information.
• Interact professionally with the public.
• Interpret and apply posted rules, orders, and training materials.
• Maintain poise and self-control under stress.
• Conduct Stop & Question in response to unusual activity to ensure no criminal activity.
• Prepare clear, concise reports when needed.
