Job summary

Innosoft is seeking a cybersecurity Network Engineer for a 12-month contract in Columbia, United States. The Office of Cybersecurity needs hands-on experience with routing/switching, firewall rules, and security monitoring to support daily operations and complex initiatives.

The ideal candidate will have 3–5 years in network design or security, certifications such as PCNSE or CCNA, and experience with QRadar/Splunk, Nessus/Qualys, and cloud networks (Azure or AWS).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IS/Cybersecurity or equivalent experience.
• Network/security-focused certification such as PCNSE or CCNA.
• 3–5 years hands-on experience in network design, implementation, or support.
• Experience with IT security or system administration.
• Knowledge of security compliance tools and data protection models.
• Ability to analyze security logs and network telemetry.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Support SOC operations reporting to the SOC Lead.
• Assist leadership, business units, partners, and vendors with daily cybersecurity tasks.
• Implement security controls for CMS ARC-AMPE, HIPAA, NIST, and FISMA RMF.
• Perform security assessments for firewall and infrastructure changes.
• Analyze network traffic and respond to security alerts.
• Collaborate on cloud and on-premises security projects.
