Job summary

IntelliBee in Columbia, SC is seeking a Network Security Analyst - Consultant to join the Office of Cybersecurity. This hands-on role focuses on protecting state systems through network security best practices and incident response.

You will work with Windows, macOS, Linux environments and cloud/on-prem networks, monitoring with SIEM tools, performing risk assessments, and collaborating with vendors to implement robust controls.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Computer Science, information systems, Cybersecurity, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Network security centric certification such as PCNSE or CCNA.

Responsibilities

• Support SOC lead and respond to daily network alerts.
• Assist in firewall change assessments and rule reviews.
• Analyze logs, alerts, and network telemetry to detect threats.
• Collaborate with agency teams to deploy security controls.
• Monitor on-premise and cloud networks for vulnerabilities and incidents.
