Job summary

Intrepid Acquisition Holdings, LLC is seeking a Security Monitor 2 to oversee surveillance, perform patrols, and control access to restricted areas in a high-security environment.

The role requires a High School diploma or GED, 1+ year of security monitoring experience, and DCJS training within 90 days for VA/MD. Top Secret SCI CI Polygraph clearance is noted along with a pay range of $17.00–$22.79 per hour.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1+ year of security monitoring experience in a high-security environment.
• DCJS training required for Virginia and Maryland within 90 days of entering on duty.
• Security clearance: Top Secret SCI CI Polygraph.

Responsibilities

• Continuously monitor to detect unauthorized access, suspicious activity, or security breaches.
• Conduct regular perimeter checks and patrols to ensure security integrity.
• Track and document all incidents, observations, and activities during assigned shifts.
• Enforce access control procedures to ensure only authorized personnel enter secure areas.
• Verify identifications, credentials, and clearances for military personnel, contractors, and visitors.
• Respond quickly to alarms and incidents to assess and mitigate threats.
• Prepare detailed incident reports and brief security supervisors.
