Job summary

Shrewsbury Public Schools is seeking a Security Monitor at Shrewsbury High School. The role is on-site, 2:30pm–5:00pm, Thursday and Friday during the school year, with a five-hour weekly schedule and hourly pay between $17.39 and $19.13 depending on experience.

Responsibilities include supervising students, guiding building egress, conducting end-of-shift walkthroughs, coordinating with administration and facilities, and ensuring the safety and security of the building within school policies.

• Monitor building use and ensure adherence to school guidelines and policies and report any building issues to building administration and/or facilities
• Ensure overall safety and security of the building

Shrewsbury Public Schools is currently accepting applications for a Security Monitor at Shrewsbury High School.

We are interested in candidates who are invested in the achievement, equity, and access of all learners in and beyond the classroom.

This position is 5 hours per week and the hours are 2:30pm-5:00pm, Thursday - Friday, when school is in session. The pay rate is $17.39-$19.13 per hour based on experience. This position is not benefit eligible.

Interested internal candidates may apply, with hours not to exceed 40 per week.
