Job summary

SA-TECH is seeking a Receptionist / Access Control Specialist at NAS Oceana in Virginia Beach, VA. The role supports facility operations, screens visitors, issues badges, and maintains access logs to safeguard sensitive information in compliance with local work instructions.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma, English proficiency, US citizenship, and the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance. CPR/First Aid certification and a valid driver’s license are required.

Qualifications

• Ability to speak, read, and write English.
• Must maintain CPR/First Aid certification.
• Background screening including SSN, driving record, and criminal background.

Responsibilities

• Answer calls, direct to requested persons, and log entrants.
• Control building access and perform security checks.
• Issue badges to cleared personnel and visitors with valid VAR.
• Maintain access rosters and detailed entry/exit logs.
• Operate or assist with mechanical equipment as required.
• May patrol assigned areas and inspect vehicles entering restricted zones.
• Perform clerical tasks and arrange appointments.
• Assist Supply Technician with inventory tasks.
• Perform other position-related duties as assigned.
