Job summary

Qwaltec Inc. seeks a Security Manager to own COMSEC and site security for a secure satellite ground facility supporting a Department of War customer.

The role oversees COMSEC materials handling, inventories, and inspections, as well as full physical security including access control, badges, clearances, and visitor management. On-site in the Maryland/DC Metro area, US citizenship is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 5 years of experience or equivalent combination.
• Active TS or TS/SCI clearance required.
• U.S. Citizenship required.
• On-site work in Maryland/DC Metro area.

Responsibilities

• Manage COMSEC keying material handling, ordering and loading, plus record keeping.
• Coordinate with government COMSEC custodians for equipment and materials.
• Conduct secure inventories and inspections of classified materials.
• Execute site security per Department of War policies and directives.
• Oversee physical security: access control, badges, clearances, visitor control.
• Collaborate with government security on security matters and directives.
