Overview:

Security & Maintenance Technician

RiverWoods is currently seeking a full-time Evening staff member (12:00 PM - 10:30 PM, Friday to Monday) to join our team for security and maintenance work. The role involves providing excellent customer service in support of our community.

Responsibilities:

• Perform general repairs and maintenance tasks, responding to Work Orders based on priority or as directed. Respond promptly to urgent staff requests.
• Conduct routine preventive maintenance and inspections.
• Respond to pull cord and pendant alarms, and other emergency situations, coordinating with emergency responders to ensure quick response to 911 calls.
• Perform custodial duties for common areas, including public bathrooms, especially when housekeeping is unavailable.
• Participate in seasonal snow removal, cleaning, moving vehicles, and other snow-related tasks.
• Support after-hours emergency needs, possibly being on “On Call”.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Minimum two years of experience in building maintenance.
• Experience in electrical, plumbing, HVAC, or related trades is desirable.
• Valid Driver's License required.
