Job summary

Target's Assets Protection Team Leader in Longview, TX leads a security-minded team to prevent loss and protect guests and employees. You will implement security plans, respond to incidents, and coach staff to uphold Target’s protection standards.

Role requires strong leadership, communication, and crisis-management skills, with a focus on safe, welcoming guest experiences while maintaining store profitability and safety.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school degree or equivalent.
• State or local licensure/other legal requirements may apply.
• Retail and/or loss prevention experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of assets protection team members and set priorities.
• Respond to theft incidents and prevent future loss.
• develop and enforce security plans and crisis response procedures.
• train store leadership on merchandise protection best practices.
• coordinate with store leaders and law enforcement as needed.
• monitor performance metrics and drive improvements.
