Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Security and Loss Prevention Specialist (SLP Specialist) to lead investigations, assess vulnerabilities, and support 24/7 operations across multiple sites in the Albuquerque area. The role requires strong analytical skills, integrity, and the ability to work with cross-functional teams to protect people, product, and data.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of Amazon experience or 1+ year in security, loss prevention, investigations, or law enforcement.
• 1+ years of experience using Microsoft Office, including Excel, in a professional capacity.
• Workplace incident mitigation or de-escalation and Business Continuity planning experience.

Responsibilities

• Conduct confidential investigations and prepare prompt written reports of theft, fraud, and critical incidents.
• Identify vulnerabilities and define mitigating actions while ensuring legal/ethical standards.
• Serve as security liaison and crisis management expert for site leadership.
• Develop strategies for alarm reduction and diagnose system issues with internal/external partners.
• Domestic travel up to 25% of the time.
• Perform physical tasks and work across 24/7 operations, including nights, weekends and holidays.
