Securitas USA is hiring a Security Liaison Supervisor in Waukegan, IL. The role oversees a site team, ensuring adherence to protocols, schedules, and high-quality customer service.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience supervising security officers, reception personnel, or customer service teams preferred.
• Advanced computer/technology skills needed.
• Strong communication, reporting, and organization skills required.
• Experience managing staffing schedules, attendance, and timekeeping.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support a team of security officers on site.
• Ensure officers follow post orders and Securitas protocols.
• Communicate site visits to evaluate performance and compliance.
• Develop and update employee schedules for appropriate staffing.
• Inspect posts and outline tasks with subordinates.
• Respond to incidents and manage emergencies effectively.
• Train new officers and provide ongoing coaching.
• Assist in payroll submissions and personnel records.
• Maintain detailed reports and daily activity logs.

Available Schedule: Monday - Friday | 8:00AM-4:00PM

We are seeking a strong leader with excellent customer service skills for a supervisor position. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills and the ability to manage daily operations across multiple locations while utilizing a hands‑on leadership approach. We have a dedicated Region and Area Management Support Staff to support you through your growth and advancement in the company.

What Your Day May Look Like

• Supervise and support a team of security officers on site.
• Ensure all officers follow post orders and Securitas protocols.
• Communicate routine site visits to evaluate employee performance, operational effectiveness, and compliance with established procedures.
• Develop, maintain, and update employee schedules to ensure appropriate staffing at all assigned locations, and ensure proper site coverage at all times.
• Inspect posts as scheduled and meet with subordinates to outline tasks and responsibilities.
• Respond to incidents and manage emergency situations effectively.
• Train new officers and provide ongoing coaching and feedback.
• Assist in the submission of payroll and personnel information to the company as designated.
• Maintain detailed reports, incident documentation, and daily activity logs.

Position Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Previous experience supervisor security officers, reception personnel, or customer service teams preferred.
• Advanced computer / technology skills needed.
• Must have strong communication, reporting, and organization skills.
• Experience managing staffing scheduled, employee attendance, and timekeeping needed.
• Excellent customer service and team leadership skills required.
• Must be able to develop training programs, conduct performance evaluations, and implement operational improvements.
• Must be able to interact with a wide range of individuals in a highly professional manner.
• Utilize strong conflict resolution and de-escalation skills to maintain a safe and secure environment on site.
