Job summary

FirstService Residential is seeking a Security Manager to lead the condo property's security team in Daytona Beach, FL. You will oversee daily operations, maintain safety programs, and respond to emergencies, coordinating with outside agencies to ensure residents and staff experience a secure environment.

The role requires a CLSS with AHLA and Security D License, plus prior security management experience in luxury settings. Competitive benefits and a 401k are offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma is required.
• CLSS (Certified Lodging Security Supervisor) with AHLA is required within 90 days of hire.
• Security D License is required.
• Experience in managing a security team is preferred.
• Experience in luxury settings (hotel, resort, condo) is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversees daily operations of Security staff and scheduling.
• Develops and enforces safety, security and emergency plans.
• Monitors electronic security systems and access controls.
• Coordinates with law enforcement and agencies as needed.
• Manages security budget and ensures compliance with SOPs.
• Trains staff on safety, fire prevention and radio etiquette.
• Maintains logs, reports, and ensures safety standards.
