Job summary

Securitas Security Services USA, Inc. in Canby, Oregon, is seeking a Security Lead Officer for a full-time, on-site role. Former military or law enforcement backgrounds are encouraged to apply. Wage is $23.00/hr and the schedule runs Monday through Friday, 8am–4pm.

You will supervise a team of security officers, enforce post orders, coordinate routine patrols, and maintain detailed incident logs while liaising with management to uphold safety and client satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old and have a high school diploma or GED.
• At least 1 year of security and supervisory experience.
• Advanced computer/technology skills and strong reporting abilities.
• Excellent communication and organization skills; customer service background preferred.
• Willing to participate in pre-employment screening including drug test and background check.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support a team of security officers on site.
• Ensure all officers follow post orders and Securitas protocols.
• Communicate routine patrols and ensure proper site coverage at all times.
• Inspect posts as scheduled and outline tasks and responsibilities with subordinates.
• Respond to incidents and manage emergencies effectively.
• Train new officers and provide ongoing coaching and feedback.
• Assist in payroll and personnel information submission to the company.
• Maintain detailed reports, incident documentation, and daily activity logs.

What Your Day May Look Like

Position Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least 1 year security and supervisory experience.
• Advanced computer / technology skills needed.
• Must have strong communication, reporting and organization skills.
• Customer service background preferred.
• Must be able to interact with a wide range of individuals in a professional manner.
• Must be able to conduct patrols and respond promptly to situations.
• Able to remain alert and detail-oriented throughout the shift.
