Securitas Security Services USA, Inc. is hiring a Security Officer for a full-time night shift in Candy, OR. The position offers $20.00 per hour and a schedule from Monday to Friday, 12am–8am.

You will help protect people and property while delivering excellent customer service. You will perform access control, patrols, and report safety issues, working with a team and reporting to regional management. Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High School Diploma, GED, or ability to complete GED within 6 months.
• Standard computer/technology skills.
• Customer service background preferred.
• Security, law enforcement, or military experience a plus.
• Able to interact calmly with a wide range of individuals.
• Great attention to detail and alertness during shifts.
• Able to respond to emergencies with quick, effective judgment.
• Willing to participate in pre-employment screening including drug screen and background check.

Responsibilities

• Perform access control at security entrances / exits.
• Conduct patrols inside / outside the client’s premises, potentially in various weather conditions and in different types of terrain.
• Frequent interactions with client employees and guests.
• Identify and report safety issues, hazardous conditions, or any suspicious activity.
• Provide detailed written reports.
• Work in a team environment to ensure site / organizational goals are achieved daily.
• Carry out specific tasks and duties of similar nature and scope as required for assigned site.

Basic Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma, GED, OR ability to complete the GED program within 6 months.
