Job summary

Live Nation Entertainment is seeking a vigilant security professional to ensure guest safety and maintain order at our venue in New York. The role focuses on proactive interaction with guests, screening for prohibited items, and assisting during emergencies to protect attendees and staff.

Qualified candidates will have at least 3 years of customer-facing experience, fluent English, and a valid NYS security license.

Qualifications

• Requires ability to work late hours and a flexible schedule.
• 3 years of experience interacting with people in a positive environment.
• Read, write and speak English fluently.
• Must be able to lift or move up to 25 lbs using proper lifting techniques.
• Must hold a current NYS security license and annual certification.

Responsibilities

• Ensure guest safety through proactive personal interaction and hazard removal.
• Prevent and resolve altercations among guests.
• Lead guests and staff in emergency evacuation procedures and provide assistance.
• Maintain venue area safety by circulating during shift.
• Check IDs for guests under 30 when alcohol is served.
• Inspect for weapons or prohibited items at entry with detectors or pat‑downs.
• Enforce venue photo/video policies and safeguard property.
• Communicate clearly via radios, signals, and lights; stay in contact throughout shift.
• Set up areas before opening; configure furniture and barriers.
• Keep interior and exterior areas clean and free of obstacles during shift.
