Job summary

AAA Auto Club Enterprises is seeking a seasoned security lead to oversee a shift of contract guards and ensure timely completion of administrative tasks in the Security Office. You will monitor life safety systems, enforce policies, and coordinate cross‑shift activities in a fast‑paced environment.

The role requires strong reporting skills, experience writing procedures, and the ability to respond calmly under pressure.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years security work experience in a professional setting.
• Ability to assess and quickly react to emergency situations while maintaining composure and professionalism.
• Experience writing technical procedures and reports.
• Ability to establish detailed, step by step procedures.
• Capable of working independently with minimal direction or oversight.

Job description

Responsibilities:

• Monitoring security and life safety systems.
• Enforcing Auto Club policies.
• Implementing emergency plans, developing guard training, and managing visitor access.
• Prepare written reports and documenting daily activities.
• Running the badging program.
• Drafting standard operating procedures and responding to security incidents.
• Assisting and mentoring other security leads.
• Coordinating efforts across all guard shifts.
• Taking lead in coordinating guard preparation for and coverage of special events.
• Monitor and audit scheduling.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED Equivalent required.
• Associate degree or higher preferred.
• Minimum 5 years security work experience in a professional setting.
• Experience writing technical procedures and reports.
• Comfortable working under pressure and tight deadlines.
• Creative thinker dedicated to quality service.
• Familiar with Security policies and procedures.
• Ability to assess and quickly react to emergency situations while maintaining composure and professionalism.
• Ability to establish detailed, step by step procedures.
• Prioritize work, take initiative, and exercise sound independent judgment.
• Capable of working independently without extensive direction or oversight.

The starting pay range for this position is: $19.14 - $25.50
