Job summary

Acreage CCF New Jersey in Egg Harbor Township, NJ, is seeking a Security Lead to support the Security Manager in implementing company-wide security programs for the NJ CCF team, patients and customers. You will guide security officers, ensure SOP adherence, and monitor security systems to protect people and property.

The role requires attention to detail, leadership, and the ability to coordinate with local authorities.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• 2 years of experience in security field or position.
• Valid Driver License.

Responsibilities

• Oversee visitor check in processes and audit records completed by security officers for all visitors including vendors and contractors.
• Circulate among visitors and/or employees to preserve order and protect property by exhibiting extreme attention to detail and observation of behavior.
• Ensure that all inventory and supplies are always properly monitored.
• Oversee and ensure the proper distribution of identification badges to all non-employee visitors and collect at the end of the visit.
• Monitor and review security cameras.
• Manage and oversee proper storage of security footage.
• In the event of an emergency, secure staff, visitors, and building; act as liaison with local police or law enforcement.
• Supervise the completion of daily written or electronic tracking sheets, providing feedback and coaching to security officers.
• Escort staff members or others between vehicles and building as requested.
• Conduct product deliveries (in a back-up capacity) when needed.
• Act as a back-up “key holder” for the facility during emergent situations after hours.
• Oversight of the buildings' multi-faceted security management infrastructure (Cameras, Alarms, Etc.)

About The Role

The Security Lead will work under the direct supervision of the Security Manager to help manage the implementation of company-wide security programs for the NJ CCF team, patients and customers. The Security Lead is responsible for assisting the Security Manager with directing and monitoring the activities and duties of the security officers while ensuring adherence to SOPs and policies. The successful candidate will possess the ability to manage a team, show attention to detail, and the willingness to assist with other duties as necessary.

Administrative Duties

• Be available to respond to emergent/important work-related situations & incidents when not “on-duty”.
• Audit daily records of all visitors and guests for completeness and accuracy
• Ensure the documentation of any incidents or accidents, and report them to the Security Manager and Human Resources
• Prepare weekly and daily reports as requested by management.
• Act in a back-up capacity for the Logistics and Transport coordinator/supervisor as needed, completing all logistics tasks as requested by management.

Education and Experience

• Must be 21 years of age or older
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 2 years of experience in security field or position
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices
• Valid Driver License

Computers and Technology

• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
• Proficiency with inventory systems and office equipment

Schedule

• Monday through Friday, 6:00AM to 2:30PM
• Subject to change as business needs.

Manufacturing environment that requires extended time standing, walking, bending and reaching. Ability to carry up to 50lbs for up to a distance of 100ft may be required.
