Job summary
Safe Haven Security is seeking an Installation Technician / Security Advisor to install, service, and troubleshoot residential alarm and automation systems. You will ensure proper functioning and provide customers with peace of mind through expert service.
The role requires installing panels, sensors, cameras, and related equipment, plus engaging with customers to tailor security solutions and educate them on system operation. Training is provided; PTO, benefits, and weekly pay are available.
Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- Ability to obtain/maintain an alarm agent permit where applicable.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and acceptable driving history.
- Auto insurance coverage meeting company standards throughout employment.
Responsibilities
- Install security alarm systems including control panels, sensors and cameras.
- Engage in sales consultations to understand customer needs and suggest solutions.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot system issues to restore proper function.
- Test installed systems and perform necessary adjustments or repairs.
- Educate customers on proper use and capabilities of their systems.
- Complete installation reports, service tickets and inventory records.
- Stay updated on industry standards and new security technologies.
