Job summary

TEKsystems is seeking a high-level Security Installation Technician III in Washington, DC. You will install security cameras, card access, and fire alarms for commercial sites such as banks, churches, schools and hospitals.

Must read blueprints and terminate Cat-6 cabling; knowledge of commercial fire alarm codes and pull stations is required. You will install and program high-end card access and IP camera systems and keep up with evolving technology.

Job Overview

Looking for a high-level Security Installation Technician III to join their team. This person will install Security Cameras, Card Access, and Fire Alarms for all commercial businesses—banks, churches, schools, hospitals, etc. Ability to read blueprints, run and terminate Cat 6 cable is a must. Knowledge of commercial fire alarm codes—pull stations, smoke detectors—is also required. They will install and program the latest high‑end Card Access and Camera brands and stay up‑to‑date with technology changes.

Job Type & Location

Contract to Hire position based in Washington, D.C.

Pay & Benefits

Pay range: $38.00 – $50.00 per hour.
