Job summary

Allied Universal in Reynoldsburg, OH is seeking a Part Time Security Officer for weekend overnight shifts to protect clients across multiple industries and provide exceptional customer service. The role features a flexible schedule, including Saturday and Sunday nights, and the chance to grow within a leading security and facility services company.

You will perform unarmed patrols, monitor entries, respond calmly to incidents, and document all activities for leadership review.

Qualifications

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, shoppers, and store team members by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout retail sales areas, entrances, parking areas, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points, observe shopper and employee activity, and report suspicious behavior, policy violations, and potential hazards to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following site-specific protocols.
• Document observations, patrols, incidents, and security-related activities accurately and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

• Sat 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Sun 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
