Job summary

Allied Universal, a leading security services provider, seeks a Part-Time Security Guard Unarmed Patrol Driver for New Bern, NC. You will patrol facilities, deter security incidents, and deliver excellent customer service while upholding Allied Universal’s values.

The role requires a valid driver’s license, background check, and ability to work a split daytime schedule. Pay is $14.25 per hour with opportunities to claim additional shifts via our platform.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s license in the state where the job is located.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check as required by law.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner and notify appropriate site contacts.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the manufacturing location, including production areas, loading docks, warehouse spaces, parking areas, and the perimeter.
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor, contractor, and delivery vehicle entry procedures in accordance with site-specific requirements.
• Document incidents, observations, and patrol activities accurately and report potential security-related concerns to site leadership.

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
