Allied Universal is seeking a Weekend - Afternoons Security Guard in Moncks Corner, SC to protect clients across logistics and distribution sites. This part-time role involves patrolling, monitoring access points, and delivering strong customer service in a fast-paced environment.

The position requires 18+ years old (21+ for armed roles in some postings), a high school diploma or equivalent, and compliance with background checks and drug screening.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of warehouse areas, loading docks, trailer yards, parking areas, and the perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site-specific procedures, supporting controlled entry for employees, drivers, contractors, and visitors.
• Document observations, incidents, and patrol activities accurately and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
