Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Guard Warehouse Access Control in Holbrook, NY. You will monitor access, perform unarmed patrols in a manufacturing environment, and provide exceptional customer service to employees and visitors.

You will maintain security logs, respond calmly to incidents, and follow emergency procedures while contributing to a safe, welcoming workplace and strong team culture.

Qualifications

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out site-specific security procedures and policies.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, warehouses, access points, parking areas, and facility perimeter.
• Monitor access to the location, verify visitor and contractor entry requirements, and maintain accurate security-related logs and reports.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations following emergency procedures.
• Report maintenance concerns, hazards, and policy violations to site contacts and leadership.

Pay Rate: $19.07 / Hour

• Mon: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Tue: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Wed: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Thur: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Fri: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees at a manufacturing and industrial location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, warehouses, access points, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to help identify unusual conditions and help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to the location, verify visitor and contractor entry requirements, and maintain accurate security-related logs and reports.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures.
• Report maintenance concerns, hazards, suspicious activity, and policy violations to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
