Job summary

Kerberos International is seeking qualified armed security personnel in Las Vegas. Responsibilities include protecting facility staff, checking visitors, and maintaining communication with supervisors. Applicants must have at least 2 years of armed security experience and must be U.S. citizens with a high school diploma or GED.

Successful candidates will demonstrate exceptional customer service skills and be physically fit to perform various tasks effectively, including lifting and standing for extended periods. Additional requirements include passing a physical and federal background check.

• Work nights, weekends, holidays, and swing shifts.

Required Experience

• At least 2 years of armed security experience.
• At least 1 year of full law enforcement experience in a full duty status (verifiable).
• At least 2 years of U.S. Armed Forces, National Guard, or Reserve service (active, retired, or honorable discharged, verifiable).

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizen.
• High school diploma or GED.
• At least 21 years old.
• Valid driver's license.
• Pass a physical and drug screen.
• Pass a federal background check.
• Fluently speak, read, and comprehend English; able to compose written reports in English.
• Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
• Intermediate computer skills to operate wireless technology at client sites.
• Ability to handle crisis situations calmly and efficiently.
• Able to work in various environments (cold weather, rain/snow, heat).
• Occasionally lift or carry up to 40 pounds.
• Climb at least four (4) flights of stairs, ramps, or ladders occasionally during shift.
• Remain on post for 4 consecutive hours.
• Remain alert for up to 12 hours.
• Stand or walk on various surfaces for long periods.
