Allied Universal is hiring a Security Guard for an urban residential community in New York. The role requires patrolling buildings and perimeters, monitoring access points, and delivering excellent resident and staff service.

• Respond to incidents, maintenance-related concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of residential buildings, common areas, grounds, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor, vendor, and contractor activity in accordance with property policies and procedures.
• Complete accurate activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications while maintaining a professional presence at the location.

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a government location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and report security-related concerns. You will provide outstanding customer service and clear communication while working with a team that is agile, reliable, innovative, caring, and committed to integrity.

Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $19.10 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Tue: 12:00 AM - 08:00 AM
• Wed: 12:00 AM - 08:00 AM
• Thur: 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM
• Fri: 12:00 AM - 08:00 AM
• Sat: 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM

What You’ll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a valid New York State Security Guard License.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
