Responsibilities

• Respond to incidents, concerns, and critical situations calmly and professionally, and communicate observations to site contacts or emergency personnel.
• Conduct routine patrols by foot and vehicle in retail areas, parking lots, and surrounding perimeter.
• Monitor access points to deter unauthorized access, theft, and policy violations.
• Document incidents, patrols, and observations accurately and promptly per site procedures.

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a retail and mall location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and assist visitors, tenants, and staff with exceptional customer service. Pay Rate: $17.00 / Hour

Sat 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, shoppers, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; communicate observations to appropriate site contacts and/or emergency personnel.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout retail common areas, storefronts, parking areas, loading zones, and the surrounding perimeter.
• Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the location, helping to deter unauthorized access, theft-related activity, and other policy violations.
• Document incidents, patrols, and unusual observations accurately and promptly in accordance with site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
