Allied Universal, a leading security and facility services company, is seeking a Part-Time Security Guard Unarmed Patrol Customer Service in Ashburn, VA. You will provide friendly customer service, conduct routine patrols, monitor access, and maintain a visible security presence at a technology site.

Qualifications

• At least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Computer or tablet proficiency preferred.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• CPR/First Aid and customer service experience preferred.
• Must be 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles; HS diploma or equivalent.
• Background check and drug screening required; licensing as applicable.
• A valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, and visitors while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies at a technology infrastructure location.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, maintain visitor logs, and report unauthorized access attempts or unusual activity.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional manner following established emergency procedures.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of the facility, exterior perimeter, parking areas, and critical infrastructure areas to deter unauthorized activity.
• Complete accurate activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.

Pay Rate: $23.36 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, and visitors while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies at a technology infrastructure location.

• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, exterior perimeter, parking areas, and critical infrastructure areas to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Complete accurate activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• CPR/First Aid is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
