Qualifications

Responsibilities

Job Description

As a Security Guard Full Time Unarmed Patrol Badge Services in Reno, NV, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support access control activities. You will provide outstanding customer service, communicate clearly with employees and visitors, and use computer or tablet systems as needed. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, exterior grounds, perimeter, parking areas, loading docks, and other designated locations to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe the movement of employees, visitors, contractors, and deliveries in accordance with site-specific requirements.
• Document patrols, incidents, and unusual activity accurately and promptly, communicating relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least one year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
