Qualifications

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation may be required by law.
• Drug screen may be required.
• Licensing requirements depend on state/local regulations.
• Driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, maintain visitor and contractor entry records, and control access to restricted areas.
• Respond to access concerns and incidents calmly and escalate as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points and production areas.
• Report unusual activity and maintenance concerns to site contacts or leadership.

Job Schedule:

• Fri: 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM
• Sat: 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities in a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, maintain visitor and contractor entry records, and help control access to restricted operational, production, and material‑handling areas.
• Respond to access concerns, incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, escalating issues according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, production areas, loading docks, parking areas, and the business perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by location.
• Report unusual activity, access‑control discrepancies, and maintenance concerns involving gates, doors, fencing, and access‑control equipment to appropriate site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of security‑related experience is required.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
