Job summary

Akima is seeking a Full-Time Security Officer to work on-site in Reston, VA. The role requires current TS/SCI clearance or ability to obtain SCI endorsement. You will manage access control, badge creation, and visitor escort duties while ensuring safety and clear communication with government contacts.

Position is on-site, with a comprehensive benefits program under the SCA. Candidates should be able to stand/walk for long periods and be capable of moving between buildings as needed.

AFO is looking for a Full-Time Security Officer to work in Reston, VA. This position requires current TS/SCI or current TS with the ability to obtain a SCI endorsed clearance.

Responsibilities

• Required to understand and operate the access control system.
• Required to authenticate Common Access Cards.
• Make DTRA badges.
• Meets and escorts DTRA site visitors as needed.
• Assists visitors with contacting their government points of contact.
• May be required to provide directions to visitors.
• Communicates clearly and orally with visitors as required.
