Job summary

Akima Facilities Operations (AFO) in Reston, VA is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer to support government-related facilities. The role requires current TS/SCI or TS with the ability to obtain SCI clearance and includes essential access control duties on site.

You will operate access control systems, authenticate CACs, create DTRA badges, escort visitors, and assist visitors with contacting government points of contact.

Qualifications

• Must hold TS/SCI clearance or be able to obtain SCI endorsement.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Must be able to move between facility buildings.
• Weather tolerance for all weather environments.
• Maintain situational awareness while on duty.
• Take general directions, oral and written.
• One year of public-facing work experience.

Responsibilities
