As a Security Guard Driver Entry Control in Decatur, IL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will monitor entry points, verify authorized access, and support a secure environment through professional communication and customer service. You will remain visible, help to deter security-related incidents, document activities, and may operate a vehicle as part of assigned duties. Job Schedule:

• Mon: 06:00 AM - 06:00 PM
• Wed: 06:00 AM - 06:00 PM
• Fri: 06:00 AM - 06:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, contractors, and employees while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-control policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials, visitor registrations, and authorization requirements before permitting entry to designated areas.
• Maintain accurate visitor, contractor, delivery, and access-control records in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to access-control incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns through established reporting channels.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized access and identify security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
