As a Security Officer Full Time Credential Screening in Manteno, IL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will help manage entry points, verify badges and visitor access, monitor activity, and communicate professionally with employees, drivers, and guests. Pay Rate: $20.16 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Thur 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
Fri 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
Sat 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
Sun 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Monitor access control points, verify credentials and authorization, and document visitor, contractor, employee, and delivery vehicle entry and exit activity.
• Respond to access-related incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, loading docks, trailer yards, warehouse areas, parking areas, and the business perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Maintain accurate daily activity reports, incident documentation, and access logs, communicating relevant information to site leadership and/or Allied Universal management.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
