Job Description

Hiring Full-Time Security Officer

$18.75 / Hour – Weekly Pay

Location: Omaha

Shift: Wednesday – Saturday, 4:00pm – 12:00am

Preferred Skills : Alarm panel experience, Computer literacy, Customer service experience

Requirements : Driver’s license, Computer Literacy

Opens gates to allow entrance or exit of employees, truckers, and authorized visitors. Verify sign in of all visitors checking credentials or approved roster before admitting anyone. Issues pass at client instruction or on instructions from superiors. Direct visitors and truckers to various parts of grounds or buildings as set by client standards. Inspect all outgoing traffic to prevent unauthorized removal of company property or products. Record number of trucks or other carriers entering and leaving. Perform maintenance duties, such as wiping down workstations and sweeping gate areas. Inspect all required permits from employees for tools, materials, or product taken from premises. Answer telephone/radio and transferring calls when necessary. Accurate data entry of all incoming out outgoing trucks into client software. This position may also require patrol of property, parking lots, as well as securing doors.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out safety and security procedures, site-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem solving manner
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter. Working environments and conditions may vary by client site.
  
  

Minimum Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only
