Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of security-related experience.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background investigation required by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to passengers, visitors, employees, and contractors while following security procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and security concerns calmly and contact appropriate personnel or emergency services.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of transit facilities, platforms, parking areas, and perimeter zones.
• Monitor access to restricted areas and report unauthorized entry or hazards following reporting procedures.
• Maintain detailed activity logs and incident reports and communicate with dispatch and site personnel.

As a Security Guard - Train Fare Enforcementin Denver, CO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a government transit location. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, assist passengers and staff, and communicate clearly while responding to concerns. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to passengers, visitors, employees, and/or contractors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at transit facilities and surrounding grounds.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, suspicious activity, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, contacting appropriate personnel and/or emergency services as directed by site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of transit buildings, platforms, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
• Monitor access to restricted areas and report unauthorized entry, hazards, damaged property, and other security-related issues according to established reporting procedures.
• Maintain detailed activity logs and incident reports, and communicate professionally with dispatch, site personnel, law enforcement, and members of the public.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
