Job Description

As a Security Guard - Telecom Patrol in Durham, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom and more .

As an unarmed patrol officer in a tech, media, and telecom location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a visible presence. Your responsibilities include conducting routine patrols, providing exceptional customer service, and communicating clearly with staff and visitors. You will contribute to a positive environment by acting with integrity, working as part of a team, and putting people first in every interaction. Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $19.50 / Hour

Job Schedule

DayTime

Mon 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM

Sat 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM

Sun 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and when appropriate, responding to emergency situations.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter, adapting to varying working environments and conditions as required by the site.
• Help to deter unauthorized activity by maintaining a visible presence and observing the premises.
• Document and report any unusual activity or incidents according to site protocols.
• Assist with access control and monitor entry points as required by site procedures.
  
  

Minimum Requirements

• Must have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• North Carolina Security Professional Guard Card is preferred.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
