Job Description

As a Security Guard - Tech Media Patrol in Clarksville, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom and more .

As an unarmed patrol officer in a tech, media, and telecom environment, you will monitor and patrol designated areas, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a visible presence. Your role involves conducting routine patrols, providing excellent customer service, and communicating clearly with staff and visitors. You will contribute to a positive atmosphere by acting with integrity, working collaboratively with your team, and demonstrating reliability and agility in all interactions. Your presence helps to support a secure and welcoming environment for everyone at the location.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $15.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter, adapting to varying working environments and conditions.
• Help to deter unwanted activity by maintaining a visible presence and observing the surroundings.
• Document and report any unusual activity or incidents according to site protocols.
• Assist with access control and monitor entry points as required by site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
