Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to guests and staff by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the hotel and resort property, including both interior and exterior areas, to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential issues.
• Maintain detailed records and reports of daily activities, incidents, and observations as required by site protocols.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits, verifying credentials, and guiding guests or staff as needed.
• Collaborate with hotel and resort staff to address concerns and support a welcoming environment for all guests.

Minimum Requirements:

• Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Maryland Security Professional Guard Card is preferred.
• Experience with access control or badge systems is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
