Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and delivery drivers while carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related policies at a logistics and distribution location.
• Screen individuals, packages, and/or materials entering designated areas in accordance with established screening procedures and site requirements.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials, authorization, and documentation before permitting entry to restricted areas.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following emergency response procedures as directed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, including facility perimeters, loading areas, and access points, to help deter unauthorized activity.

As a Security Guard X Ray Image Reviewer in Indianapolis, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Screener with Allied Universal at a logistics and distribution location, you will help support a secure environment by screening personnel and items, monitoring access points, and reporting security-related concerns. You will use communication and customer service skills to assist employees and visitors while contributing to a reliable, innovative team that puts people first and acts with integrity.

Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $17.22 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Thur 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Fri 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Sat 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Sun 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• X-Ray screening experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
