Allied Universal is hiring a Security Guard for a retail presence patrol at a Stamford, CT mall. You will provide customer service to visitors, tenants and staff while maintaining a visible security presence and reporting any incidents.

As an unarmed patrol officer, you will monitor assigned areas, respond to emergencies, and collaborate with mall management and Allied Universal personnel in a fast-paced environment.

As a Security Guard Retail Presence Patrol in Stamford, CT, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a retail mall location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and assist visitors, tenants, and staff with exceptional customer service. You will communicate clearly, report observations, and support a welcoming environment while representing Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, and people-first culture with integrity and teamwork.

Pay Rate: $18.94 / Hour

• Wed: 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM


• Thur: 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM


• Fri: 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM


• Sat: 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM


• Sun: 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to mall visitors, tenants, employees, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site‑specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.


• Respond to incidents, disturbances, medical situations, and other critical events in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and/or emergency responders as needed.


• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the shopping center, including common areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations, to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security‑related concerns.


• Monitor access points, observe visitor and vehicle activity, and report suspicious behavior, hazards, maintenance concerns, and policy violations according to site procedures.


• Document patrols, incidents, and daily activities accurately; communicate relevant information to Allied Universal supervision, mall management, and appropriate site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.


• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.


• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.


• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.


• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.


• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.


• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
