Job summary

Circle-the-Cit seeks a vigilant Security Guard to protect staff, patients, and property at our healthcare facility in Phoenix, AZ. You will monitor access, perform bag checks, conduct rounds, and respond to incidents under the supervision of the Security Supervisor and Facilities Manager.

This full-time role requires 21+, strong communication, and at least 1 year of security experience; a clean background, ability to pass drug testing, and proficiency with MS Office are preferred.

Qualifications

• 21 years or older and able to provide proof of age.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Minimum 1 year of security guard experience; healthcare facility experience preferred.
• High school degree or equivalent; associate degree preferred.
• Proficient with MS Office tools (Word/Excel).
• Able to pass county/federal background checks and drug testing.

Responsibilities

• Transition from day to night shift and vice versa.
• Bag check and bag storage procedures.
• Assist in dorm cleaning and patrol premises.
• Maintain various logs (vehicle keys, storage, hot box).
• Complete incident reports and support Emergency Operations Team.
• Follow POST Orders and directives from site management.

Summary of Position:Under the supervision and oversight of the Security Supervisor with matrixed responsibility to the Program Managers and the Facilities Manager, the guard will follow the site POST Orders and any additional direction as given by the site Program Manager, Security Supervisor, and Facilities Manager.
