MassMutual is seeking a Security Guard for its Springfield, MA facilities. This full-time, on-site position requires patrolling, monitoring entry, and enforcing security policies to protect personnel and property. The ideal candidate has 1+ year in corporate security and a high school diploma, with CPR/AED training preferred.
The role involves greeting visitors, maintaining daily logs, and coordinating with SOC operations. Schedule includes weekend and evening shifts; on-site work is required.
A MassMutual Security Guard (SG) endeavors to provide a safe and secure environment for associates, contractors, and visitors, at our facilities. Greets and observes all people entering MM facilities and assists them as necessary to help ensure they have a great day. Monitors all facilities and reports and/or acts to correct any violation to company security policy. Learns and understands all Security Control Center (SOC) functions as delineated in the security operating manual and standard operating procedures. The SG will proactively investigate incidents of an unusual, suspicious, or threatening nature and will act to resolve these situations in collaboration with her/his supervisor or manager.
