Qualifications

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control/badge experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation and drug screen.

• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and follow emergency procedures.
• Conduct regular patrols of access points, parking areas, perimeter locations, and facilities to identify security concerns.

Pay Rate: $18.75 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Thur 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Fri 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Sat 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Sun 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, contractors, and/or delivery drivers while carrying out site-specific access-control procedures and security-related policies at a chemical/petrochemical location.
• Verify identification, credentials, authorizations, and visitor documentation before granting access to restricted areas in accordance with established procedures.
• Monitor entry and exit points, control vehicle and pedestrian access, maintain required access logs, and report discrepancies or unauthorized access attempts.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site emergency response procedures and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, parking areas, perimeter locations, and assigned facilities to help identify and report security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control/badge experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
