As a Security Guard Unarmed Patrol Driver in Lafayette, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Education, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Professional supporting an educational location. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, monitor access points, and provide courteous communication to students, staff, and visitors. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, and visitors while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of campus buildings, classrooms, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, communicate relevant information to appropriate personnel, and maintain accurate activity and incident reports.
• Support a welcoming learning environment by providing directions, assisting with non-emergency requests, and maintaining professional interactions with all individuals at the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
