Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Guard Patrol Access Control in Miami, FL. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, provide excellent customer service, and support access control and alarm response at a premier commercial real estate location.

The role is full-time with a pay rate of $19.50 per hour, scheduled Wed-Sun 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM. Join a team that values integrity, teamwork, and service to residents, tenants, and visitors.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of security-related experience.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Alarm panel experience preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check and drug screen required.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.
• Driver's license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to residents, visitors, tenants, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor access points, common areas, parking facilities, and perimeter areas of a commercial real estate property; observe and report unusual activity, hazards, and policy violations.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout the property, including building exteriors, amenity areas, garages, and surrounding grounds, to deter unauthorized activity.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports and maintain communication with site management, emergency responders, and Allied Universal leadership as needed.

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• At least two years of security-related experience is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
