Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Part Time Weekend Security Guard in Mason, OH to serve tenants and visitors at a commercial property. You’ll conduct patrols, monitor access points, and provide customer service while maintaining a visible, professional presence.

This role requires a valid driver's license, high school diploma or equivalent, and the ability to pass background and drug screening. The schedule includes Saturday and Sunday shifts with a pay rate of $19.48 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Complete accurate activity logs and shift handoffs.

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or property staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of commercial property buildings, common areas, parking facilities, and perimeter areas to help identify unusual activity and/or potential concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the location, helping to deter unauthorized entry and supporting property rules.
• Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift handoff communications in accordance with site requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
